- Championships coaching / training : We usually conduct minimum 10 days for coaching camps before participating in every National Championship organized by the Hockey India.
- Selection policy / committee : Hockey Haryana conducts the selection trials well before the Hockey India National Championship every year by adopting the guidelines of Hockey India and in this regard, we always inform all the Affiliated Units of Hockey Haryana, all the District Sports Officers, Department of Sports & Youth Affairs- Haryana and Haryana Olympic Association well in advance.
- Hockey Haryana constitutes the selection committee to select the impartial team o Hockey Haryana for Hockey India National Championship on the basis of merit.
