Hockey Haryana (HH) has successfully conducted 5th Sub Jr. Men’s State Championship from 23-27 Oct. 2019 at Gurukul Pundri Hockey Ground.
Total 23 teams / units and 414 players along with 70 team officials and 16 technical officials (11 Umpires + 5 Officials) have been participated. Sh. Babu Madan Mohan- Chairman, Sh. Swaroop Singh Kotiya- President and Sh. Tejinder Singh Deol- Jt. Secretary were present on the occasion of opening ceremony. First match of this Championship was played between Ambala and Jind districts, in which Jind won by 3-2.
Final match played on 27 Oct. 2019 between Kurukshetra and Kaithal and Kurukshetra won the Gold by beating Kaithal 2-1. Jind won the Bronze Medal by beating Sonipat 1-0. Sh. Kaviraj Sharma- Principal Gurukul was the Chief Guest who distributed the medals and prizes to the winners in closing ceremony.
